In 2009, at least twenty men who either lived or were stationed at Camp Lejeune between the 60’s and 80’s have been diagnosed with breast cancer. Taking better care of our health has been a leading theme over the past decade. Getting plenty of water is important for better health and it is also important to consider the source of that water so we rely on charcoal fridge filters. We have our own well because the city water does not extend out to our area. We did not like drinking the water out of the tap because of the salt content from the softener.
We bought the fridge filters and the pitcher that goes with it. The coffee that is made from the filtered water tastes so much better. Now that we use a home water filter system the residue is not longer there. Our neighbor told us that they use fridge filters for their drinking water.

How Safe Is Our Drinking Water?
Faucets and water fountains may no longer be fit for drinking as water may contain contaminants that are detrimental to one’s health and well-being. Having a proper drinking water filter system may perhaps be one of the more effective ways that may help rid water of particular contaminants.
