TLC for Bay Windows will Reward your Decor

Did you know that the windows in your home can be the difference between a nice room and a naff one? It’s true. Your choice of bay window treatment in particular can make of break your living or dining room spaces. Even if the room is beautifully decorated, has some spectacular choice in furniture, and has even gone thought some major architectural home improvement, if you neglect to include the bay window display in the design process then there’s a very good chance that you may not have gotten good value for money.

It’s all in the Shopping: Where a lot of people slip up is in the shopping. They have an idea for a new room and then go off to the shops with their ideas. What happens is they hop from shop to shop buying wallpaper and paint from one store, curtains and window accessories from another place, and the same for carpets and furniture. So what happens is they return home they have what’s akin to half a dozen jigsaws in a single box, and just like a jumbled up jigsaw, the mishmash of ideas just one go together.

What’s the Solution?

The solution is to take time and draw out a plan. There is some good home design software available these days which really lets home owners put their ideas into the visible form as opposed to ideas floating around in their heads. It’s a bit like trying before buying and being able to see if these drapes go with that wallpaper, got with that paint and these rugs etc, really does help folks to create better rooms.
