Lately I was searching into ways to become more self-sufficient and stay away from major congregation in terms of managing my food. I find it almost nauseating that the most critical items in our everyday living such as water is controlled by organizations. That is when I found heirloom seeds and realized this can be my way to freedom. organic heirloom seeds are a type of seed that can be re-cultavated into the floor after the first round of the seed bears fruit. This is an unbelievable process because; one seed and one plant can reproduce food for a very long time. Usually when you buy a melon from the store, it carries GMO seeds, which simply means that it can never be replanted and grown into more fruit but with this other type of seed it is very possible to keep bearing fruit for years to come and that is a true sense of independence.
