Dad might be online right now looking at the best rated vacuum cleaners reviews so that he can get the right model at the right price for his dear wife at Christmas, or on her next birthday etc. Unless she has categorically stated that she wants household appliances as a gift on special occasions, then be prepared for a whack at the side of the head with her biggest frying pan.

Yes, she may have been going on all year about how she’d love a new Hoover, and she may have even been showing you the advertising pages in local rags boasting about all state of the art electronics and new features on the latest models, but fellas, she don’t want it for her frigging birthday present for crying out loud, and she will probably not find it very funny at all!

If you know what’s good for you, you’ll get off the internet and take yourself down to the high street and look for something that will display your love and appreciation for the lady in your life. As much as she might want a new vacuum cleaner, she don’t want it for he birthday, comprendo?
